He is proven in breeding, having sired licensed stallions and S-level (advanced) sport horses, confirming his exceptional value as both a sire and performance horse.

Zauberdeyk is a stallion who cannot be surpassed in type, brilliance, and athleticism. He has enjoyed success in both eventing and dressage, and combines a superb character with correct, modern conformation. He is tall, long-legged, naturally balanced with a strong, closed frame, and demonstrates talent in advanced movements like piaffe and passage. He impressed at his licensing in Neumünster 2009 with expressive, tactful, and effective gaits, drawing attention from judges and spectators alike. His outstanding pedigree and clear sport performance heritage make him a highly attractive sire.

Zauberdeyk completed his 30-day test in Schlieckau with an impressive overall score of 8.15 (Dressage: 8.18 / Jumping: 7.96), and later qualified for the second part of the HLP through sport. He was internationally successful in eventing under Evelina Carlsson, winning CIC events* in Hovdala (Sweden) and Copenhagen (2017–2018), and placing in the CIC in Strzegom. Since 2019, he has been with riding master Hubertus Schmidt, ridden by Lune Karolin Müller, with whom he now competes successfully at S* Grand Prix level in dressage.

His son Kirwan (out of Kasou by Shavalou) became Trakehner Show Jumping Champion 2017 and qualified for the Bundeschampionat for 5-year-old eventers – underlining Zauberdeyk’s potential as a versatile sire.

Zauberdeyk descends from a lineage full of elite performers. His sire Van Deyk was successful up to Grand Prix level and sired multiple Grand Prix horses, including Kaiserdom, Kaiserkult, and Polarion. His grandsire Patricius xx also competed at Grand Prix and descends from Vanessa of Hämelschenburg, a mare line rich in elite horses such as Valerian, Vincent, and Vilano (eventing).

Zauberdeyk’s dam, Zauberlied II, was double-awarded and successful in riding horse tests. She is by Friedensfürst, an international Grand Prix winner under Nicole Uphoff and Lisa Wilcox. The family includes sires and sport horses such as Zauberklang, Zauberstern, Zauberprinz, and Zikade (Bundeschampioness), all from the powerful Zauberlied – Zauberpuppe – Zauberlicht mare line, known for producing horses with excellence in dressage, jumping, and eventing
