Breeders day

Our foal inspection 2023 is Sunday August 20 at our address in Heerewaarden. We try to make it a fun, informative, and enjoyable day.

We set this up as an extra fun day for the breeders who use our stallions where they can present their foal.

The format of this day will go something like this:

We make groups of 8 to 10 foals, divided into groups of fillies and colts. A professional group of judges will judge the foals. The best foals (in the eyes of the jury) are allowed to proceed to the finale, which is held at 5 p.m. Everyone is welcome for this day: breeders, buyers, riders, amazons, and enthusiasts. After the final there is a cozy breeders drink with music in our stretch tent.

You can register until Sunday 13 August. In the following days we make the booklet and the layout. These will then be emailed to you.

If you want to sell your foal, please send an email to info@uytert.nl and this will be announced during the presentation of your foal.

General announcements:

  • Foals of stallions that are available for stud at Hengstenstation van Uytert.
  • We provide carriers.
  • Each participant receives 6 consumption vouchers.
  • Mares and foals stay on the trailer or truck.
  • There are only stables for the 15-20 final foals.
  • Toileting and braiding must be done by the participants themselves.

  • 2nd pr: 50% discount on cover worth max. € 1,500
  • 3rd pr: 25% discount on cover worth max. € 1,500
  • 4th pr: 25% discount on cover worth max. € 1,500
  • 5th pr: 25% discount on cover worth max. € 1,500
  • Subsequent prizes: all final foals € 100 prize money per foal.
