Central Inspection Gelderland

The Central Inspection of Gelderland in Ermelo was a great success for the Van Uytert Dressage Stallions.
Wiona Utopia s. San Remo out of Vivaldi's dam Renate Utopia who became champion at the National Mare Inspection in 2006. This year she has another good contender for a top placement at the National Mare Inspection with Phoenix Utopia by our stallion Jameson RS2.
The Gelderland region is traditionally a strong region for dressage horses. No fewer than eleven groups of three-year-old dressage mares appeared in front of the jury during the Central Inspection. Ultimately, after an extremely high-quality Final under the watchful eye of an old-fashioned pleasant crowd, Phoenix-Utopia RS2 became Champion: a dream horse, complete in model and movement. Wim Versteeg is regional inspector of Gelderland and was a satisfied man after the inspection. “Under ideal weather conditions, on a beautiful accommodation with a beautifully decorated ring, we were able to select 13 mares for the leading group, each with their own specific qualities, under great public interest; on the one hand the model and on the other hand the way of moving. In the case of the champion, it was a very complete model, which also showed a very convincing way of moving. A dream horse that every breeder hopes to breed one day. As a jury I am very curious how she compares to the mares selected for the NMK from other regions. Incidentally, it is with great pleasure and confidence that we invite all thirteen mares from the final to the National Mare Inspection.”

The reserve title was for Nadia-Marilla van de Boxbergen. The daughter of Incognito was bred by R. Ogink in Wesepe and is registered by J.J.J.M. Hoogveld in Ghent.
