Easy Game passed away

Posted 07-11-2023

Our Trakehner and KWPN-certified stallion Easy Game (Gribaldi x Schwadroneur) sadly passed away completely unexpectedly on Monday July 10th. Easy Game, sire of Olympic and European champion TSF Dalera BB and our World Cup bronze stallion Hermès N.O.P., was only twenty years old.

Easy Game was bred by Flip Willemsen out of Gribaldi and the Danish top mare Evita XII (ds. Cannon Row xx). Evita won the Stutenleistungsprüfung in Denmark and in 2001 was the most expensive mare in the auction at the Trakehner Hengstmarkt in Neumünster. She passed into Dutch hands and left, pregnant by Kaiser Wilhelm, for Flip Willemsen's stables in Bergharen. Multichampion Evviva was born in 2002, followed by Easy Game the following year.

We bought the colt from Flip Willemsen and presented him at the age of 2.5 at the Trakehner Hengstmarkt in Neumünster, where he was approved and named Easy Game. During the inspection we partially sold him to Petra Wilm from Gestüt Tasdorf. There Easy Game covered his first mares, including the dam of TSF Dalera BB.

Breeding

Relatively few coverings (total of 60-70 Trakehner mares) have resulted in a very large number of successful offspring. Not only within Trakehner breeding, but also beyond. For example, he produced the popular stallion Millennium (mv. Ravel) and Trakehner champion Kaiser's Erbe (mv. Van Deyk). In 2014 Easy Game was named elite stallion, in 2017 he won the Doruto Memorial of the Trakehner Contact Netherlands and in 2021 he became Trakehner Stallion of the Year. Easy Game itself was active in the sport up to Small Tour level. He was ridden by Theo Hanzon and John Thijssen.
