Escanto PS trotted and galloped in Warendorf under his trainer Brandi Roenick/USA to the title of Federal Champion of four-year-old stallions - with a magnificent performance or, as judge Dr. As Carsten Munk put it at the beginning of his comment: “Escanto PS delivered today!” The judges awarded 10 for the “very, very expressive trot with good abandon, clearly light-footed, with an absolutely positive basic tension and completely balanced in all turns” . The judges also gave him a dream grade for canter and rideability. The foreign rider would have preferred not to dismount, reports Munk to the applause of the spectators. Together with an 8.5 for type and physique as well as an 8.0 for stride, this resulted in a 9.3 for the reigning Oldenburg state champion (9.2) and two-time performance test record winner (9.43 and 9.12), who thus prevailed against strong competition.

The first crop of foals exceeded even the highest expectations with numerous show winners, auction highlights and finalists at the German Foal Championships. With his daughter Elegance, Escanto PS achieved the top price of 31,000 euros at the Oldenburg “Special Edition” auction. For this he was named the Oldenburg main premium winner.

The father is the World Dressage Horse Championships silver and bronze winner and Burg Cup finalist Escamillo. The number of his licensed sons is almost 40, including our series winner in riding and dressage horse tests, Expectation PS, the Neustadt champion stallion and series winner of riding horses Element of Crime, the Hanoverian premium stallion, 700,000 euro stallion market price topper and sixth place in the four-year-old competition at the Dressage Horse World Championships, Glock's Energy/Ruben Mengual Reig/ESP, our Pavo Cup winner Extreme U.S., the Westphalian reserve champion stallions Escaneno, Espléndido MT and Excalibur, the third place in the Federal Championships and DSP champion Elocin and the DSP champion Birkhof's Esperanto .

Of his other sporting offspring, the two-time Federal and Westphalia Champion Eivissa stands out under Jessica Lynn Thomas/SWE, who received 10 for both trot and canter and 9.5 for rideability and conformation in Warendorf. Enigma OLD secured bronze at the Oldenburg Four-Year-Old Championships. Embolo, third in the Westphalian coat of arms at the Tournament of Winners, achieved the sensational hammer price of 590,000 euros, the highest price ever achieved by a riding horse at a Westphalian auction. The AWÖ national champion for three-year-olds was in Stadl-Paura/AUT Eyecatcher W, and the winner of the Herwart van der Decken show in Verden was the Escamillo daughter Exclusive.

The dam Fairytale PS also produced our Fair Deal (by Franklin), who won the Moritzburg Championships in 2021, 22 and 23, took bronze at the Oldenburg State Championships (3yo) and was recognized as the Ic main puree winner in Oldenburg. Fairytale PS herself is a full sister to our Ib main premium winner Fürst Toto and a half sister to Donier (by De Niro), who is also licensed. A half-brother of the dam Fairytale PS, Benjamin’s Button (by Baron), was sold expensively at the P.S.I. auction.

A licensed Foundation son comes from the great-granddam Lasira. Her daughters Disney’s Dory (by Desperando) and Gallery (by Governor)/Andrea Timpe celebrated successes in the advanced class. The Gallery son Sergeant PS (by Sir Donnerhall I) was licensed in Mecklenburg and became the top price at the Schockemöhle Online Auction for 114,000 euros.

The dam's sire Totilas won gold twice at the European Championships in Windsor/GBR in 2009 and three gold medals at the World Equestrian Games in Lexington/USA in 2010. He also won the World Cup final in 's-Hertogenbosch/NED in 2010. He set completely new records in the Grand Prix arena several times.

The stallion lines of Lauries Crusador xx, Sandro Hit and Donnerhall manifest themselves in subsequent generations.

The great-great-grandmother Sunny-Girl produced the licensed vice state champion and two-time Federal Championship participant Lord Schufro OLD (by L’Espoir) and the premium stallion Fürsten Hit (by Fürstenball). Through her daughter Funny-Girl (by Fürst Romancier), she also became the great-grandmother of the licensed San Bordeaux (by San Amour I).

The fifth dam Fantastica produced the two licensed stallions Sunny-Boy (by Sandro Hit; S-Dr.) and Classico (by Classiker; sport name Capuccino, victorious Grand Prix/Karin Rehbein and Julia-Katharina by Platen) and the Grand Prix dressage horse Cafe au Lait (by Classiker).

Around 50 licensed stallions come from the famous Finnish line, including: the newly crowned second Westphalian Reserve Champion Cirion as well as Blue Hors Don Schufro/Andreas Helgstrand/DEN, Birkhof's Topas FBW/Victoria Max-Theurer/AUT, Lord Leopold/Victoria Max-Theurer/AUT, Sir Oliver/Madiat Zurheide, Blue Hors Zatchmo/Agnete Kirk Thinggaard/DEN, Tailormade Red Rebel/Ellen Brigitte Farbrot/NOR, Blue Hors Veneziano/Agnete Kirk Thinggaard/DEN, the two-time World Championship finalist Just Wimphof, Adelfos, Aldato, Don Primero, Radetzky and Rio Negro, as well as internationally successful show jumpers like Cindy Crawford/Piet Raymakers/NED, Elastique/Jörg Münzner/AUT, Enigk and Feuerdorn/both Hans-Günter Winkler as well as the top dressage horses Finnländerin/Madeleine Witte-Vrees/NED, Ferrera/Jacqueline Wing Ying Siu/HKG, Macbeth/Willi Schultheis , Malteser/Otto Lörke, Mariano/Dr. Josef Neckermann, Rubelit/Christine Stückelberger/SUI and Tiga/Heinz Lammers as well as the winning mare of the Oldenburg Elite Mare Show 2003, Fabina, and the 2016 Federal Champion, Festina PS.
